What it do!!!

Got home reasonably early (6.30 ish) from the university where I was studying. Decided to get bread on my way home to prepare something less time consuming (goat meat soup).
Went ahead to clear up my living room and arrange my study area in preparation for my exam. Got the lecture notes on my lappy, important values laid out and something we call minimals here @ Dote which is just basic info that every student should know about in neuro.
7.30 ish-Talking out loud to myself, trying to memorize the values and after I get bored of numbers I switch to the minimals and if am also bored of that then its my lecture, that was how I kept on going until the time was a few minutes past 1am. Took a short sleep to help with my memory lol
3.30 ish- Alarm buzzing and am snoozing hehe...until my adrenaline kicked in why it did that I don't know anyways got up and got my red bull from the fridge :-) powered up and ready to continue.
You know what? All this time I still had a lot to do but hey I can't divide myself neither can I kill myself right? Did my best and said a prayer to God. Leaving the rest to him, cause I had done my best.
At about 7am left my house to the department and there was this tension within me. It felt like I was hurting myself. Needed to pee like every 30mins, I tried my best to cover up the nervousness building up *thinking about it now its funny* lol. Anyways the exam started at about 10 ish and its in 3 parts=> written, practical, oral. From each section you get a key to the next, any fail at one point ends the exam. Infact the very 1st question during the written determines one's faith, so if one gets it wrong=>that's all folks! lol
So far it went on okay for colleagues if mine that had theirs today, I was the last to take my written cause my family name starts with "Y", anyways it went on great at each stage *signed, sealed & delivered* and I really want to thank God cause he has shown me enormous favor, not just during this exam but my past exam=>psychiatry and many more things I can't begin to list them out.
This is one department I'll definitely miss, so far from what my classmates are saying no other department is as dedicated as neuro. The HOD is interested in his students and most of the staffs there are willing to teach us that's if you make yourself available. This has to go without saying I'm impressed and I doubt if any department here in Dote can measure up. #True talk#
So now am done with 2, I have 4 more left, which I'll be doing in the UK...
My next post will be about the structure of my rotation in general. xxx

Yours truly
Mee :-)
