The final month of the well worn calendar
Has turned over at last
The twelfth image of the year is with us
To refresh the dark December house
Lit up with fairy lights and innocent angels
Whatever your conscience or faith
A time for family and all our forgiveness
Because loneliness is more painful
The festivities bring unity
And delight to cherubic faces
Who get on for once.
